£82,096 - £110,683 per annum | Permanent Appointments Part-time applications welcome.

CAMHS Community South – 2 posts (2 x10 PAs) – based at Hopewood, Nottingham
CAMHS Community North – 1 post (10 PAs) – based at Langold or Newark, Nottinghamshire
CAMHS Liaison – 1 post (10 PAs) – based at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham or Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield
CAMHS Crisis – 1 post (10 PAs) – based at Hopewood, Nottingham

Due to significant investment and retirement, NHCFT are looking for 5 WTE Consultants to join our rapidly expanding CAMHS services, offering treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 for mild to severe emotional and mental health needs.

Ideally we are looking for experienced consultants, however applications are welcomed from those passionate about CAMHS, and will be developed, coached and mentored within their job plans. Part time applications welcome. These posts are located within our services across Nottingham City and
Nottinghamshire county.

About the CAMHS Service

  • Rated “Good” by the CQC since 2016, and elements of “Outstanding” practice noted in our Eating Disorder transitions and CAMHS Liaison Services.
  • Made up of specialist services including core community and in-patient services, Eating Disorders, Head 2 Head (EIP, youth offending, dual diagnosis and sexually harmful behaviour team), CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment, CAMHS Liaison, CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team, Children Looked After & Adoption, Primary Mental Health, and East Midlands Community Forensic Child & Adolescent Health Service (FCAMHS).
  • We have embedded Children & Young People (CYYP) IAPT principles and training throughout the teams to ensure high quality Evidence Based practice.
  • Our service is part of the first wave nationally to ‘go live’ providing community Mental Health Support Teams and are regionally and nationally recognised for their success with the model.
  • Integrated Health & Social care services delivered by our C&YP Looked After Services Teams.
  • Our Mental Health Support Teams and Crisis and Liaison team have both been finalists in the National Nursing Times Awards over recent years for their quality of care.

About the Trust
