The Trust’s Staff Counselling Service provides confidential counselling to all staff for professional and/or personal issues.
Trust staff can self-refer, and the Staff Counselling Service can provide a wide range of services and approaches to support the needs of individual staff members. You can access face to face or remote counselling sessions as part of the offer.
Trust staff can access this service during working hours with agreement from their line management, although there is no requirement to say why you are attending. This service can also be accessed by staff who are absent from work for any reason. It is also accessible to staff who leave the organisation, for a period of up to 4 weeks after their leave date.
Counselling sessions are completely confidential, with the usual professional exceptions.

- One to one counselling
- Group work
- Critical incident stress management and trauma work
- Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR)
- Stress awareness
- Post incident support
