Your team

We are a teamWe know that when you understand how you fit within the organisation and the team, you will understand how you can make a difference. Your team will be thinking about how they can share some, or all, of the below with you.

  • Your team's purpose or team charter which will help you understand what your team is all about.
  • Your team's Behaviours in Practice charter which helps you understand how your team lives the Trust values. This helps you to know what to expect of others but also what is expected of you.
  • Being ready to answer your questions, explain all of the details and help you feel part of the team!
  • How to introduce you to wider teams and individuals that your team works alongside. Sharing the names of key contacts.
  • Standard operating procedures and where they are stored.
  • Ways to provide feedback :
    • TED: We use an approach to supporting teams which is called TED (Team Engagement and Development). Click here to read more about TED.
    • Freedom to Speak Up: we believe every colleague should feel able to speak up about any concerns they have. We work hard to ensure all colleagues know how to raise concerns and know what to expect after raising a concern.
    • Staff Survey: The NHS Staff Survey is one of the largest workforce surveys in the world and is carried out every year to understand staff experience and help drive improvements for colleagues. Click here for more information
