Settling in

While you are finding your feet and settling in to your new role with Notts Healthcare, your manager will help with this and will go through a local induction checklist. You can also check out Connect (our staff intranet page) to find lots of useful information and also refer to the Trust website as well.

Local induction checklist

Our local induction checklist helps your manager to welcome you and make sure that important information is shared within your first few weeks.

You are required to complete this with your manager in your first two weeks of employment.

Your manager must send a copy of the completed checklist to learningdevelopment@nottshc.nhs.uk within one month of you starting.

Your manager or buddy should have set up various meetings, 1:1s and shadowing opportunities to support you as you begin your role.

Once you have completed your Trust Induction, it will be over to your local area to help you settle in and start to feel part of your team.
