Getting up and running
Having everything in place to get you up and running!
These steps will be completed by our corporate teams:
- Add your new employee record to ESR (Employee Staff Record) for HR and Payroll and access to Employee Self Service.
- Ensure you have an email address set up.
- Once you have sent a photo, your ID badge will be posted to your line manager.
- Liaise with Learning and Development to book you onto Induction.
Your manager will arrange
- Your IT access.
- Access to any shared resources (email accounts / shared folders).
- Hardware (laptop, phone).
- Uniform (if required).
- Access to Teams groups.
- Any financing of specific equipment needed to support staff with disabilities (if required).
Things you will need to do
- Complete all of the necessary training via the e-Academy.
- Arrange to set up your smartcard (your manager or buddy will help with this).
- Set up easy expenses if necessary.
Hybrid working
You will need to ensure you have:
- A private, comfortable and accessible space to work from.
- Access to internet.
