Getting up and running

Having everything in place to get you up and running!

 

These steps will be completed by our corporate teams:

  • Add your new employee record to ESR (Employee Staff Record) for HR and Payroll and access to Employee Self Service.
  • Ensure you have an email address set up.
  • Once you have sent a photo, your ID badge will be posted to your line manager.
  • Liaise with Learning and Development to book you onto Induction. 

 

Your manager will arrange

  • Your IT access.
  • Access to any shared resources (email accounts / shared folders).
  • Hardware (laptop, phone).
  • Uniform (if required).
  • Access to Teams groups.
  • Any financing of specific equipment needed to support staff with disabilities (if required). 

 

Things you will need to do

  • Complete all of the necessary training via the e-Academy.
  • Arrange to set up your smartcard (your manager or buddy will help with this).
  • Set up easy expenses if necessary. 

 

Hybrid working

You will need to ensure you have:

  • A private, comfortable and accessible space to work from.
  • Access to internet.
