Are you looking for a rewarding career in healthcare, even if you have no prior experience? Rampton Hospital is holding an information event specifically for individuals new to care, especially males, who want to learn more about the vital role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at our hospital.

As an HCA at Rampton, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients. Your duties will involve:

HCAs are crucial to patient care, and although the role can be challenging, it is highly rewarding. Whether you’re interested in mental health, learning disabilities, or general healthcare, Rampton Hospital offers a diverse and unique working environment where every day brings new experiences and opportunities for growth.

Rampton is one of only three high-secure hospitals in England, providing care and treatment to patients with severe mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and personality disorders. As a high-security environment, Rampton is dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both patients and staff, while delivering compassionate and therapeutic care.

At the event, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Learn about the Care Certificate, which provides the foundational skills for those new to care
  • Get insights into Rampton’s supportive working environment and the incredible impact you can make in the lives of our patients
  • Top tips on how to complete a strong NHS application form
