Honour your NHS stars today – OSCARS awards now open!
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the OSCARS 2026, our annual awards ceremony celebrating the outstanding achievements of our staff and volunteers across the Trust.
The Trust, which provides intellectual disability, mental health, community health, forensic and offender healthcare services across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire, holds the Outstanding Service Contribution and Recognition Scheme (known as the OSCARS) each year to showcase the compassion, dedication and professionalism demonstrated by colleagues across Trust services.
From frontline clinical teams to corporate services, volunteers and partners, the awards recognise those who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and support to the people and communities we serve.
Sienna Kemp-Adair is part of the Youth Impact Board which was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award at the previous OSCARS ceremony. Sienna said: It felt amazing to win the award. Having that voice directly from young people is so important and it helps to make sure those voices are heard, and it was great to have the recognition for that work. That's why nominating someone matters: it shows them their impact is seen and valued. I really encourage you to take this opportunity to nominate someone whose contribution deserves to be recognised.
This year, nominees can be put forward across twelve categories, reflecting the breadth of contribution made throughout the organisation. Patients, carers, staff and members of the public are all invited to submit nominations and help highlight the individuals and teams who have made a meaningful difference.
Trust Chair, Paul Devlin, said: The OSCARS hold a very special place in our year, and it is a privilege to celebrate the exceptional people who contribute so much to our Trust. I am proud to recognise the dedication, compassion and professionalism that shines across our services. Every nomination reflects the profound impact our colleagues have on the lives of patients, families and communities, and I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to acknowledge those who have made a difference.
Chief Executive, Ifti Majid, added : The OSCARS are a powerful reminder of the extraordinary commitment shown by colleagues across our Trust, often in challenging circumstances. Every nomination tells a story about the difference our people make every day, and I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who has inspired them. It is one of the highlights of our year, and a moment to reflect on the exceptional care and support delivered across our services.
We are also incredibly grateful to our valued sponsors and Trust Charity, whose support enables us to deliver an event that truly reflects the importance and impact of the work being celebrated. Their contribution ensures we can recognise our colleagues and volunteers in a meaningful and memorable way, and we are proud to work alongside partners who share our commitment to supporting excellent care, innovation and compassion across the NHS.
Nominations are open until 15 March 2026, with the winners announced at the OSCARS ceremony in summer.
