Trust Celebrates International Women’s Day 2024 with inspiring event at Rampton Hospital
Last week, our Trust proudly marked International Women’s Day 2024 with a special celebration. As part of the festivities, colleagues from Rampton Hospital’s Women’s Services organised an engaging event for patients and fellow colleagues to join in.
Members of the Therapies and Education Team took the lead in inspiring patients by sharing stories of influential women from the past and present, along with their empowering quotes.
During the event, patients and colleagues were encouraged to share their own thoughts and inspirations by writing quotes on purple love heart cards. Many heartwarming messages highlighted the support and care received from our #TeamNottsHC colleagues, while others spoke fondly of their families as sources of inspiration.
After collecting these inspiring messages, the team plans to create a display for all patients and colleagues to enjoy and draw motivation from.
Reflecting on the event, Heidi Bedford, Peer Support Worker at Rampton, said; “Our main goal was to encourage patients to reflect on their achievements, consider future possibilities, and draw inner strength from the success stories of others.”
