Recruitment Team News - 23 July 2021

We would like to begin our first Recruitment Team News Story by congratulating Caroline Chadwick and Lisa Eastwood for being successful in obtaining new roles within the People & Culture directorate. Caroline and Lisa have both worked in the Recruitment team for a while now, and after successfully completing their CIPD in Human Resources, they have both have been promoted to the role of a Trainee HR Advisor.

In addition to this, Lee Stokes has recently been promoted to the post of Social Media & Website Officer within the Recruitment department.

Below are some personal messages from Lisa, Caroline, and Lee.

Lisa Eastwood

Nottinghamshire Healthcare is a fantastic place to work, the Trust fosters a supportive and positive workplace in terms of career progression by growing in house talent. My career at Nottinghamshire Healthcare started in the Recruitment Team as an HR Recruitment Team Leader and following completion of my CIPD I was offered a training programme in the HR Business Operations Team. I could not be happier that I have been given the opportunity to use my knowledge and further my career in Human Resources

Caroline Chadwick

I started in the Recruitment Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare as an HR Recruitment Administration in December 2019 having put myself through a CIPD Level 3. I then started my CIPD Level 5 in September 2020, determined to develop my career in HR. At the beginning of 2021 I started a secondment in the Mass Vaccination Project Team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals, and I am now returning to Nottinghamshire Healthcare to join the Business Operations Team as a Trainee HR Advisor. I am so grateful for the opportunity, thankful for the support I have received, excited at the prospect of my new role …and look forward to coming back!

Lee Stokes

I have worked in the NHS for nearly ten years, and the past five years I have been working at Nottinghamshire Healthcare as an HR Recruitment Assistant. Alongside this I have been studying part-time towards a degree with The Open University which will be completed in late 2021.

There is no doubt a national issue in terms of NHS staffing levels and so I am excited to be promoted to a newly established post. This post will use social media and Recruitment’s own micro website to promote our Trust as a great place to work. I am really excited to get started in this brand-new role and could not think of a better time for it, especially given the role in which social media plays in all of our lives.
